The White Peak Trail (Winter Edition) with James Butler

Morning all!

Back out in the wild this weekend, traversing the glorious and muddy White Peak trail ⛰ with great company; James Butler, Associate Director of EDGE and Mark Holmes.

2.5 hours on our slightly blistered feet offered up plenty of time to catch up on all things property and construction related in the East Midlands, but also, mostly indulge in our shared passion of niche '90s football references. From ‘Quickly Kevin’ to that West Germany kit via the enduring fascination and frustration of Subbuteo and the many myths and tales of East Midland's finest, “Big ‘ead”.

Great to also hear about the continued, sustained growth that Edge have undertaken in the last 5 years, now at 70 heads, and soon to be 5 offices, but still with an unrelenting desire to continue to offer the personal touch to their clients.

Furthermore their focus on social value and charity work is hugely commendable. Their people-centric approach highlighted by their recent Investors in People Gold Award! 👏🏼 🥇

Dovedale's famous stepping stones may have been submerged with water but despite a few mudslides we managed to make it through unscathed!
