Pride Park with Stuart Penn

That Friday feeling.

As the training miles mount up for the #londonmarathon2022 I'm starting to think this bizarre idea I had of running with clients might actually pay off! πŸ˜ƒ

Wednesday morning brought a steady seven miles with great company. Thanks to Stuart Penn Regional Managing Director at Lovell Partnerships Ltd for slowing his pace down for my benefit, particularly on the back of posting a great time at the JLL Property Duathlon.

Our jog took us from Pride Park along the river and through the awkwardly similar Country Parks of Alvaston and Elvaston. Cue muggins here managing to get us lost. The bypass, however, looked resplendent during the rush hour! Not a patch on the newly opened office however.

Great to share our running experiences (highs and lows) and a fantastic way to learn more about the exciting plans for the business, as it continues to grow in the East Midlands.

As part of Morgan Sindall Group plc, Lovell is backed by a consistently strong group performance, a very healthy cash position and a drive and commitment to continue to deliver sustainable, mixed tenure housing, regeneration and residential development in partnership with the communities that they have served so well for over 50 years.

They are also well known for developing talent from within, look no further than Stuart as an example of that, and refreshing to hear that even in the immediacy of the talent short market, the business is still highly committed to investing for the future through its apprenticeship and management trainee programmes.

I look forward to following the success of the business and the region over the coming months and years.

Have a great weekend everyone!
