Two Reservoirs and the mighty Wednesday with Alan Smith

And we're back. πŸ˜Š

Rounding off the week with a 5 mile loop surrounded by the serenity that is Broomhead and More Hall reservoirs, just outside the #peakdistrict

Thanks to Alan Smith Operations Director at Kier Places for allowing me to gatecrash/support his and Kier Group's 'Moving through May' #fundraising initiative (link below for those who wish to support). Never one to miss out on an opportunity to run with like-minded folk I was buoyed by Alan's call to get back to the Great Outdoors and his new found passion for #running

Having competed in a race the night before my hamstrings were ecstatic that we chose the flattest possible route in an otherwise very hilly, picturesque location.

As always, the chit chat was suitably random; from a mutual fascination with cartography to life lenses for kids (and more often than not, parents as well!). Given that Alan and I are both Sheffield Wednesday Football Club fans, we spent the majority of time still in awe of what we witnessed a week ago and reliving the quite incredible Playoff comeback whilst looking forward to the final on Monday. WAWAW. πŸ¦‰πŸ”΅βšͺ

Next month we're in #manchester for our annual jaunt along the canal for the Chartered Institute of Housing conference. Last year was a great day out and we look forward to catching up with everyone there. All welcome, whatever your level, just bring your running trainers and a smile. The more the merrier! Sessions will be held throughout the day on Wednesday 28th June. Drop me a note if interested.

Thanks for reading.
