Country Park 5k with Alex Kenny

It's that time again friends! 🏃🏼‍♂️😅

Despite the restrictions we all currently face I'm thankful that we can still partake in outdoor exercise with 'one other from another mother'!

Nice then to ground oneself in the serene setting of a country park for a run with Alex Kenny, Technical Director at Redrow East Midlands.

We were blessed with the weather for a cheeky 5k to clear the head, have a natter and end the week in style.

Outside of football, the similarities between recruitment and dating, and the "bouncebackability" of the housing industry it was great to hear about Redrow's recently acquired 58-acre brown-field site which will see the construction of a brand-new garden village in Newton in Nottinghamshire.

More than ever, house buyers are demanding open space and with traditional village greens, allotments and wildlife-rich spaces it's clear that Newton offers that in abundance. The creation of a primary school, community centre and sports facilities in the form of football and cricket pitches will also add to the sense of community and support the need for green space. Top work all involved!
