Chilly river 10k with Steve Brown

How should our towns and cities look in a post-Covid world?

Thanks to Stephen Brown, Associate Director, of award-winning global design & architecture company Leonard Design Architects for joining me on a chilly jaunt by the river!

We both share a passion for running but also, a love of innovative, sustainable regeneration. Unsurprisingly, LDA have been busy assisting a range of clients and Local Authorities with masterplan strategies for towns and cities to ensure they thrive in the 21st Century.

Our local city, Nottingham, is currently faced with the opportunity to redefine itself with the Broadmarsh redevelopment. What would you do?

LDA, and Steve, have a strong track record; their work with Sheffield City Council helping to reimagine and create a vibrant, sustainable and flexible masterplan of which they've successfully delivered the first 3 phases. www.heartofsheffield.co.uk

Flexibility and adaptability are going to be key for us all in future. I was delighted to hear what LDA had done to support their staff of late; encouraging virtual Pilates sessions, setting up running challenges, 'away' days and pizza masterclasses.

If we’re to reimagine the fabric of our cities, our people are our most important asset.

Keep running folks.

Refreshed by my approach to recruitment, why don’t you Recruit with Me. Run with Me? 🏃🏼‍♂️😊
