Morning run with Ken Lyon

Delighted to have been joined this morning by Ken Lyon for a pacey 10k!

In-between breaths, and of course, socially distanced, we chewed over some of the challenges within Public/Private Sector partnerships. Challenges, which if overcome, through innovation and a genuine desire to work collaboratively, can provide solutions that benefit all and offer fantastic opportunities to provide industry leading service to end-users.

I've not known Ken for long but it's clear that he possesses a real enthusiasm and drive for continuous improvement plus a passion for making a lasting difference. To top it all off, his running cadence is first class!

Having led strategic business transformation programmes for Nottingham City Council and headed up Commercialism within Birmingham City Council it's fair to say Ken knows a bit about impacting change for the better within complex organisations. He’s now enjoying developing effective cross sector partnerships at South Kesteven – alongside leading business improvement, change and reform. Keep up the great work sir!
